Spirituality can look so many different ways AND, we are tired of the perfectionist and performative vibe, tired of being soft and dainty and palatable to everyone, we contain multitudes and are unwilling to deny the darker side of ourselves any longer!
It’s time to create space for, let out, heal, turn towards and integrate the parts of us that the world wants to banish or tame. All parts of us are welcome, lovable and worthy to be here and be expressed, let’s liberate ourselves into our full spectrum of being!

FULL EMBODIMENT + CREATIVE LIBERATION

This is not a choreographed dance class.
Ecstatic dance is a free-form dance with the intention of creating somatic awakening. Specifically, we will be dancing to awaken and liberate our authentic expression.
This type of dance creates a direct body-mind-spirit connection, allowing our body, breath and inner guide to be our own teachers.
This is a journey, an authentic movement meditation where ease, presence and bliss can be experienced.
There is no one to impress, our attention is focused inward towards ourselves, not on others, so you can be utterly yourself, allowing your emotions, dreams and prayers to dance themselves alive through you, freeing your mind and body while connecting with yourself in a safe and healthy way.

This event is for ALL BEINGS, everyone who loves to move their bodies and express freely through dance or wants to break through barriers that hold them back from expressing freely through their body.
Shaking, stomping, singing, creating new movement patterns, moving in ways our bodies are NOT accustomed to moving is so good for us! Dancing is so good for us!
Come dance with us! There is no guidance in this event, you just put a pair of headphones on and begin to let the music move you. Integrate what you are integrating, shake loose the excess energy that wants to shake loose, heal, claim, call in whatever is ready to be called in. Move your body as your prayer.
Feet on the earth being tickled by the cast ocean, the cool air on your skin, ocean wave mist in your nostrils, moving your body, feeling your breath, we are here!! We are ALIVE!

In collaboration with YogaSix Laguna Niguel, welcome to the Ecstatic Dance Silent Disco at the Beach!
Join us at Aliso Creek Beach, Laguna Beach for a one-of-a-kind experience where you can dance freely to the music in your headphones while enjoying the beautiful sunset on the beach.
We have 20 sets of headphones and we will have house techno on one channel and primal on the other.
When you get to Aliso Creek Beach, if you are facing the ocean, we are usually set up to the left of the Lost Pier. We have a red table set up and there will be people with headphones on their heads or around their necks.
